1. Saturday December 18 come to the Zine fair.. old Y from noon till 5 it's free and interactive and amazing. buy zines, create zines, contribute to community, watch films, meet people. yay!
2. The Youth Animation Project is doing an intake - it's a paid! position, requires no experience, available for folks between 15-30! cool. Check out their website here... www.quickdrawanimation.ca
3. National council on welfare's recent report shows that it's pretty ineffective, and access to it needs to be changed so more folks can get it, before becoming destitute. It's big news for people who work in poverty reduction, and old news for people who work in poverty.

5. Momentum offers money management workshops, learn to save, manage finances, build a business, etc. etc. etc. it's cool. they offer micro-credit loans and other neato projects. www.momentum.org
